Getting rent paid

As a business landlord getting your rent paid is essential for the survival of your business.  If you are faced with a commercial tenant who is in rent arrears there are many possible options open to you. But which is the best one for your business?

Only by fully understanding what you are looking to achieve can we make the best recommendations. If getting the rent paid is your priority then we will look into whether your tenant has valuable goods machines or stock on the premises that could be sold to pay the rent. Or perhaps they may have another business, job or house that could be used to pay the rent?  If protecting the tenancy is your aim you might consider taking less rent (or no rent for a while). If your own business needs have changed you may be looking to take the property back for your own use or re-letting the property.  So evicting your tenant may be the best answer to achieve this.  Understanding your priorities will help us provide the best answers.
