The purpose of Withy King’s ‘law4bikers’ is simple - to represent the legal interests of motorcyclist clients, be it accident-related, a consumer issue, defence or mitigation of road traffic offences.
The Motorcycle Law Unit (MLU) is comprised of a team of experienced and highly regarded lawyers, based in our offices on the M4 corridor, but acting on behalf of motorcyclists across the country.
A serious accident can have life-changing implications and it is vital that victims are represented properly to protect a client’s position and to maximise the recovery of damages. Our clients consistently praise us for our tenacious approach and our “ability to identify, fight and win a case which lesser lawyers would reject” (legal industry quote).
Specialists in motorcycle accidents form a strategic alliance
Digby Brown in Scotland and Withy King in England have formed a strategic alliance for cross border referrals.
The firms are regarded as being leaders in motorcycle accident work in their respective countries. If a person has an accident in Scotland but lives in England his claim would be subject to Scottish Law and he would therefore need to utilise the services of a Scottish firm. Likewise if a Scottish resident had an accident in England then he would need to use a firm in England (or Wales) as the applicable law is that of England or Wales. Digby Brown and Withy King were keen to ensure that "cross border clients" are advised by leaders in the field and by forming the strategic alliance both firms can be satisfied that their clients are receiving the highest quality representation.
Digby Brown’s motorcycle law department is headed by partner Brenda Mitchell, who has more than 20 years experience and is widely regarded as being one of Scotland’s leading experts in the field of motorcycle accident law.
