Malcolm qualified as a solicitor in 1995, joined Withy King in 2001 and was promoted to Partner in 2003.

He handles all aspects of employment law and Tribunal Advocacy. In particular, he specialises in both contentious and non-contentious employment work, advising on unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, and business transfers and reorganisations. He acts for a range of companies, from large listed PLCs to SMEs.

He regularly lectures on employment law issues to clients, HR professionals and businesses, as well as contributing advisory articles to various publications.

Malcolm is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, an affiliate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a member of the Law Society.
