Paul Rumley is based in our Swindon and Marlborough offices. He qualified as a solicitor in 1998, and has specialised solely in clinical negligence law since that time. He has a widespread experience of all aspects of clinical negligence law, as well as of all aspects of funding claims.
Paul is a member of the Legal Services Commission's Funding Review Committee, an active member of Action Against Medical Accidents (AvMA) and a past Trustee and Vice Chairman of Swindon Citizens Advice Bureau.
Paul has contributed to the development of clinical negligence law through lectures and articles, which have been widely published including in the New Law Journal and in AvMA's Clinical Risk Journal . He also appeared on an ITV West documentary commenting upon medical law. Paul is a nationally recognised expert in clinical negligence law, having been appointed to the Law Society's Clinical Negligence Panel. He has also been appointed to Senior Litigator status by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
