Chris has 15 years experience as a commercial lawyer and in August 2006 was appointed Business Development Director. This post is part Withy King's ongoing business development strategy and reflects its commitment to growing the business in the future.
Chris is also Client Relationship Manager to many of Withy King's corporate clients and leads the firm's Tenders team. He has been instrumental in the rapid expansion of the business. Under his leadership, the Commercial division doubled in size in the past three years and more than tripled in the last five.
His experience includes employment law, professional negligence, commercial contract disputes and partnership matters, as well as being an accredited mediator. Prior to becoming a commercial lawyer, Chris specialised in family law within the Private Client division of the business.
Chris is a member of Withy King's Management Board and Executive Committee which is responsible for management, development strategy and project implementation across the business. In this role he leads a number of initiatives across the firm and is involved in a wide range of strategic and management issues.
