Chis Kane heads Withy King's Dispute Resolution department.
He has 15 years of experience as a commercial lawyer and throughout his career has advised on employment law, professional negligence, commercial contract disputes and partnership matters.
Between August 2006 – November 2009 Chris held of post of Business Development Director with Withy King. This post was part of Withy King's ongoing business development strategy and reflected the firms commitment to growing the business. In this role Chris led a number of initiatives across the firm and was involved in a wide range of strategic and management issues.
In November 2009 Chris returned to a client fee earning role in the firm's Dispute Resolution and Insolvency team. In this role he advises on matters from director and shareholder to commercial and contractual disputes, debt recovery involving bankruptcy, liquidation, receivership and corporate insolvency matters. Chris also advises on Intellectual Property , copyright and employment contractual disputes.
Chris is an Accredited Mediator with the ADR Group and a commercially astute lawyer. He assists clients to achieve solutions to the issues they face in a commercial, pragmatic and cost effective manner.
He is also a member of the Withy King board and is actively involved in the management and development of the firm.
