Hannah Blackwell

Hannah is a senior solicitor based in the Bath office. Hannah qualified in 2003 and has specialised in clinical negligence throughout her legal career.

Hannah works on a wide range of clinical negligence cases including obstetric negligence (representing both mothers and babies who have suffered often catastrophic injuries following childbirth), wrongful birth, anaesthetic awareness, surgical negligence, and delayed diagnosis cases.

Maternal injuries cases are particular areas of interest to Hannah and she has obtained compensation for a number of mothers who were injured during childbirth.

Prior to joining Withy King in 2004, Hannah worked at Alexander Harris where she trained and worked on a wide range of clinical negligence cases and group actions including the Shipman Inquiry, representing families of the victims of Harold Shipman and the MMR litigation, representing children thought to have developed autism following administration of the vaccine.
