Partner
James qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and became a partner in the International Private Client team at Farrer & Co in 2000. He joined Withy King as a partner in March 2006. He specialises in estate planning for private individuals with a particular expertise in tax advice for non-UK domiciled individuals who have a tax exposure either through residence here or through the ownership of assets in the UK.
He has written chapters for the loose-leaf volumes published by Lexis Nexis Butterworths entitled "Planning and Administration of Offshore and Onshore Trusts" and "Trust Drafting and Precedents" James is a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and of the Holborn Law Society Revenue Committee.
