Peter Foskett

Peter qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and re-joined Withy King as a partner, following the merger between the firm and Quiney Jaggar in January 2003, to head up the team of commercial property lawyers based in Swindon and Marlborough.

Before re-joining Withy King, Peter's principal client was a mobile phone operator and he lead a team of lawyers completing around 300 legal agreements for telecommunications sites each year. In addition, he dealt with multi-site agreements involving the location, construction and fitting out of sites.

Peter heads the firm's Property Development & Planning sector team and  specialises in all aspects of commercial property, acting for a wide range of commercial clients. These include a major institutional landlord, both in connection with their investment properties and also their own occupied premises, as well as more local landlords. He has also acted for many tenants in the acquisition of shops, offices, warehouses and other types of commercial premises.

He is experienced in handling complicated leasehold transactions and also undertakes freehold acquisition and disposal work, including transactions involving land with development potential.
