Sharon MacDonald is a partner within the family department, who qualified as a solicitor in 1991. She has over 18 years' experience of family law and specialises in dealing with high value cases involving finance, pension and property issues arising out of divorce.
Her current cases includes a significant number of high value cases with clients not only based in the south west but as far away as the United States and New Zealand.
She also advises in relation to pre-nuptial agreements and cohabitation disputes and has an extensive knowledge and experience within this area.
Sharon is a qualified Collaborative Law practitioner and an accredited specialist with Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association), having qualified in 2000, with particular specialisms in advanced financial provisions and advocacy financial provision.
In 1997, Sharon became a member of the Law Society's specialist Children Panel and in 2001, became an accredited member of the Family Mediators Association.
