Tracy qualified as a solicitor in 1988, joined the Oxford firm Marshall & Galpin in 1989 and became one of the firm’s youngest ever partners in 1994. She joined Withy King as a result of the two firms’ merger in September 2008.
Tracy has been appointed a Professional Trustee in a number of high value settlements which have been placed in personal injury trusts. In the two decades that she has been conducting personal injury claims, she has recovered compensation of over £30 million for claimants. She has also lectured on brain injury, clinical negligence and personal injury trusts to a wide variety of audiences.
Tracy conducted the case of Re A v. D NHS Foundation Trust in which the value of the award, if the Claimant lives to 50, is £11.4 million. The order is also the Model Order relating to loss of earnings claims made pursuant to a periodical payments order.
Tracy is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, Past-President of the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Law Society and a previous Committee member of the Oxford Medico-Legal Society.
