Carol is an integral part of the probate and Estate Administration team with over 30 years experience of helping clients with estate administration, particularly estates with more complex issues, such as tax or overseas assets.
“I’ve been in the team since 1980, but I still enjoy the personal element we have with our clients as much as I ever did. People are often feeling very vulnerable when having to deal with a loved one’s estate, so I try to put myself in their situation and understand exactly what it is they need and require.”
Carol’s specialist probate and estate planning experience includes;
- dealing with estates with foreign assets
- claiming inheritance tax relief
- advising on intestacy (where a person dies without a will)
- varying the distribution of an estate (Deeds of Variation).
