Carrie Pearson

Solicitor

Carrie acts for both nationally recognised employers to local SME’s as well as directors and senior managers on all aspects of employment law.

Having begun her career as a Trainee Solicitor at Withy King in 2006, Carrie qualified in 2008. She is well regarded by clients for her “excellent advice,” and  being “friendly, helpful and available,” and for “making things less stressful.”
Carrie prides herself on simplifying the legal process for clients to help them through what can be a stressful period in their life.

Sometimes clients feel that the problem they face is overwhelming and they simply don’t know where to start. My goal is always to work with my clients to unravel the facts and provide a clear way forward with options of how the problem can be dealt with. This can ease stress from the outset.”

Recent cases include;

  • Defending an unfair dismissal and race discrimination claim arising from a gross misconduct dismissal
  • Advising an employer on the dismissal of a potentially disabled employee
