Stuart Brazington
Partner
Stuart is a partner who specialises in brain and catastrophic injuries and leads the firm’s Brain Injury team that helps clients who have been catastrophically injured and who have multi-million Pound claims.
“Understanding the world of brain and spinal injuries has been a personal passion since I qualified in 1991. By nature, these injuries are always severe so I work very closely with both the injured individuals, as well as their families as everyone’s affected. Winning these complex claims is always a delicate balance between ‘fighting the client’s corner’ and recognising that dealing with the individual and their families requires enormous sensitivity. We become a close knit team and it’s inspired me to become a legal specialist in this area so that my clients will have the very best quality of life”.
Stuart has a special interest in paediatric brain injury work and chairs the South-West support group of a well-known child brain injury charity as well as being an active member of the charity.
“Withy King achieves ‘great results’ on catastrophic spinal and paediatric brain injury cases. The ‘patient and non-judgemental’ Stuart Brazington is ‘impressive’ for head injury cases.” [Legal 500 – 2010]
“The fact that we no longer have to worry about the future is really down to you, and I hope you understand just how much we appreciate all the work you did on his behalf.”[Source: client testimonial]
Stuart is a Deputy approved by the Court of Protection frequently acting on behalf of people who are incapable of dealing with their own affairs due to mental incapacity. Stuart lectures on brain and spinal injury issues to legal, medical and charity specialists.
